“Jux, the new tumblr?”
Nice, last week I needed to make a dotted border in Photoshop. And I missed Illustrator so much!!! Photoshop doesn’t have a dotted line, just like Illustrator. After spending hours searching for a good tutorial, I just asked my friends on Facebook for help. And within an hour I got the right answer!
So now I’m going to share it with you, so I’m not the only one who knows how to do it!
1. Create a shape (mine was a rectangle)
2. Save it in the Paths tab (just in case of… mine always disapeared!)
3. Create a new layer and select it
4. Go to your brushes and create a dotted brush (choose a rond hard brush and set the spacing to more than 100)
5. Go back to your Paths tab
6. Select the brush tool and right click on the path you just saved
7. Choose Stroke path and select the brush tool
8. Then you can delet the path and you have a dotted border in the layer you just created!
My fould was that I didn’t create a new layer, I wanted to make the shape with a border, but you need a new layer for the border. Don’t ask me why, just accept it and enjoy your border!!

50 reasons not to date a graphic designer
Wow, I was looking for things that interest me, especcially things for my work like user experience, design, interaction, usability. But there are so many things going on and they are all so great to know! Today I looked a little bit at service design, customer journeys, customer experience, crowdfunding, responsive design, story telling, intelligent user interfaces, web 3.0, social media, seo, emotional design and getting things done.
I want to know it all!! So maybe I need to take one or two topics a day and learn more about it. It’s a great way to learn more and to share it! I’m looking forward to share some things!!
To make it more clear, I’m not going to share only work related stuff. I also want to share things I like and is not work related. I’n going to use tags to split all the different topics. Just that you know it :)
It’s time to share my thoughts, inspiration, information and research! I’ve never been a great blogger, but it’s time to try it again! And this time in English, so don’t be mad if I write some stupit things, my English isn’t perfect :)

As you can read, this post really makes no sense. It’s just an introduction and a way for my to start blogging. I need a nice title and write down much more books, links and post a lot more. But give me some time and than I hope you can find here some nice stuff. With a lot of posts every week!
